Wickbett was first showcased at the Seoul International Invention Fair in South Korea held from 28 November to 1 December 2014 and was awarded with a gold medal.

Wickbett is a baby changing table/bed made from E1 grade laminated chipboard. In addition to the multiple functionality, such as the changing table, bed and a wall shelf, the product is also distinguished by the smooth lines of its exposed edges (eliminating dangerous and sharp edges). 

The changing table comprises:

  • The safety guard, which keeps the baby safe from falling and allows quick and easy mounting and removal. After transforming the changing table into a bed, or if you no longer have a use for the safety guard, you can use it as a wall shelf.
  • The changing area is 80×71cm in size.
  • The opened area beneath the changing area with a height of 250 mm allows quick access to various necessities./li>
  • Two drawers that slide on metal roller guides.

 

Together with detailed assembly instructions, the supplied furniture fittings allow the buyer to assemble the product simply by using a screwdriver and a hammer.

In addition to the detailed instructions supplied with the product, only a screwdriver and a hammer are needed to transform the changing table into a bed. During assembly all the wooden parts will be used, which means that there will be no remaining parts left after you have finished with the assembly. Only a few pieces of furniture fittings will be left after assembly, since less pieces are needed when transforming the changing table into a bed.

  • E1 grade 18 mm thick laminated chipboard with various colour finishes and 2 mm ABS safety edges manufactured by EGGER.
  • Rubber handles manufactured by GTV.
  • Various furniture fittings and the mounting framework manufactured by Häfele.

The Wickbett is packed in a 5-layer carton.

Packed in two boxes:

  • one box 880x750x110 mm in size and
  • one box 820x750x105 mm in size.

Each package weighs 30 kg.
